Each roster is built up based on a pattern (cycle).

A pattern contains a set of entries that specify how the work is scheduled. It must start from day 1 to day X. Day X can be any number you wish the pattern to have. You must insert at least one number-entry for each day. There must be no gaps in the sequence of the numbering of days in the set.

There are 3 options to use for each entry. Work,  Rest,  and Day Off. It must be specified if the end time refers to the same or the next day.

i.e.

day  1 -> 07:30 - 15:30 (same day) - > work

day 1 - > 15:30 - 07:30 (next day) -> rest

day 2 -> 07:30  - 15:30 (same day) -> work

day 3.....

day 4.....

day 5.....

day 6 - > 00:00 - 00:00 (next day) -> Day Off,

7, 8, 9..., X.

This is invalid because day 2 is missing.

day  1 -> 07:30 - 15:30 (same day) - > work

day 1 - > 15:30 - 07:30 (next day) -> rest

day 3 -> 07:30  - 15:30 (same day) -> work

day 4.....

day 5.....

day 6 - > 00:00 - 00:00 (next day) -> Day Off,

7, 8, 9..., X.

Later on, using the 'Employee to Pattern Line' we will specify on which No of day and on which date we will place the employee correctly in the cycle of the pattern.
