1. Email Notifications

The absence application and approval process can include email notifications to the applicant and the approvers.

-The applicant can receive an email notification whether his/her absence request has been finally approved or rejected.

-All the approvers in chain can in turn receive an email notification once they need to take action for an absence request.

Both the applicant and the approver email notifications are settings that can be set in the Joomla User Manager in the HR tab. For each user it needs to be defined if he/she needs to receive an email notification as an applicant whether his/her request has been approved or rejected and additionally, if an approver to be notified for an absence request arriving to him/her for approval or rejection.
